You can’t separate God’s love from God’s healing. Because He is love, He is healer. God wants you to know He loves you, not just on Sunday, Wed, or in an emergency. God doesn’t love you when you feel spiritual, or when you don’t. God’s love never changes and is not based on your performance but on His unchanging character.
God is love! He doesn’t just love but He is love. His essence, His nature, and His character are love. 1 John 4:8
God is healing – it’s not just something He does. Healing is His essence, nature, and character. He is willing to Love and willing to heal (Acts 10:38, Luke 13:11-13,16, Matt 8:3)
God’s promises are seeds in picture form. His vision for our lives. Health and healing is one of those promises. 2 Peter 1:4
Healing is an incorruptible seed. It’s a promise. It is a picture that God wants you to have of your possibilities. The more you realize that the promises aren’t something new or that God just thought up. The more you will move in faith. The promises of God are in picture form for what he had in his heart from the beginning in Christ.
having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,
1 Peter 1:23 (NKJV)
The same seed that saved you heals you! Not your performance. Faith is what pleases God! Hebrews 11:6. If you perform right, He loves you more, He will heal you. If you don’t perform right, He loves you less and won’t heal you. This is the natural man’s thinking. It is carnal thinking. Just going by your five senses. The carnal-fleshly mind.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Romans 8:7-8 (NKJV)
God’s love (Healing) is unconditional, unmerited and unearned. That is God’s grace. You can’t make God love (or heal) you anymore or any less. It is a gift. Just receive it as a gift. Eph 2:8. God is love. It is the Greek word Agape. it means affection, benevolent-generous, compassionate, kind, and giving. God’s love is a love feast, a banquet. “He prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies.” –Psalm 23 A table of His love. Not a table of condemnation, guilt, manipulation, fear, sickness, or disease
4 But when the kindness and the love of God-(fondness of mankind) our Savior toward man appeared. (Made to shine upon-made visible-manifested)
Titus 3:4 (NKJV)
The one not habitually loving has not come to know experientially God by intimate experience, because God continuously exists being Love (or: for God is Love and Acceptance).
1 John 4:8
The one who is not habitually loving in this manner has not come to know God, because God as to His nature is love.
1 John 4:8 (WuestNT)
The love of God and the healing of God is not about your performance, good works, or what you can do to deserve His love or healing. It is not about whether you are worthy to receive His love or His healing. You are worthy in Christ because of His blood. The Love of God, His blessings, His healing, and His exceedingly great and precious promises, are not about your performance to receive them. They are again a gift. God’s grace has provided it. Faith reaches out and appropriates the grace of healing that has already been given through Christ.
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God (His will for you-seen in Jesus) and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life (Sickness is not life) and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,
2 Peter 1:2-3 (NKJV)
“God has already provided healing and salvation through Christ-It’s a done deal. You’ve already got it!” As Andrew Wommack would say! We are to believe and receive what is already ours. That’s why you resist sickness and disease, poverty and take your authority over it! This is what Jesus or we could say this is what grace has done for us! Faith appropriates what He has already provided. We believe according to scriptures that He has provided these things already.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1:14
He has already provided salvation, healing etc-you don’t have to beg for it, cry for it, or bend God’s arm with good works so that you will get His attention or show Him you are worthy of it.
But God demonstrates His own love (Healing and health is God’s love manifested)toward us, in that while we were still sinners,(sick, depressed, fearful, hateful, prideful) Christ died for us. (To set us free)
Romans 5:8 (NKJV)
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
Ephesians 2:4-6 (NKJV)
You think -I’m waiting for the manifestation to happen or you could say I’m waiting to feel His love emotionally, feel and sense healing physically, being able to sense or see something. Then we say if we don’t feel it or see it then it hasn’t happened or it’s not true.
We are letting the natural facts to dictate what we allow ourselves to see. We say that nothing has changed outwardly. I can’t see it or feel and then we think, maybe I need to pray more, confess this, maybe I’m not being spiritual enough. Maybe I missed something and doubt starts to come and invade your mind. Your imagination goes to negative places. You see that you’re still sick and see the same symptoms and circumstances. You start rehearsing and seeing different scenarios playing out negatively in your mind. Again-Doubt comes in-you’re not seeing results.
It’s not about what I’m doing or not doing -like I need to fast more, pray in tongues more, etc. Do something to make the manifestation happen. Your emphasis or focus is on what you see or don’t see happening. Your focus is on the manifestation (syn-symptoms, expression, materialization, sign, demonstration, or appearance) instead of the one who manifests, and that is Jesus. Heb 12:1-2. Focus on the seed of God’s Word and not the symptom. If you are truly believing according to the scriptures you will see the desired results. Your faith is not in the results of what you can or can’t see but in what causes the results of who you do not see.-Jesus! He is the SEED.
8 Without having seen Him, you love Him; though you do not [even] now see Him, you believe in Him and exult and thrill with inexpressible and glorious (triumphant, heavenly) joy. 9 [At the same time] you receive the result (outcome, consummation) of your faith, the salvation of your souls. ( or the healing of your body or the financial provision)
1 Peter 1:8-9 (AMP)
“Without having seen healing, you love Him the healer, though you do not even now see Him-healing you believe in Him-healing and exult and thrill with inexpressible and glorious triumphant heavenly joy. At the same time, you receive the results -outcome, consummation of your desired results; healing, salvation, provision.”
If the seed is planted in the ground where you cannot see it physically, it will produce and you will see it. Power is in the seed (Christ, the living Word)not in the manifestation.
(John 6:63 )
26 And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, 27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. 28 For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. 29 But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”
Mark 4:26-29 (NKJV)
